Sprinter is a GRP fin keeled sloop rigged yacht, designed by Chris Butler and built by Butler Yachts in 1981. She has a skeg hung rudder and skeg supported propellor shaft.
Sprinter is up for sale due to the owner having bought a bigger boat.

I have
extensively upgraded pretty much everything on board, including new engine,
sails, rewired and new electronics, mostly for my own satisfaction and also to
give confidence to do the Jester Challenge (to the Azores single handed). This
was completed between May and July 2008 and Sprinter managed all weather
conditions without any problems.
Some work
is still outstanding in areas like the head linings in the heads, but in
general I believe she is a strong extremely well equipped example of this
design
Sprinter is
currently on a swinging mooring in Chichester Harbour. This is paid for till
end of March 2009 and is reserved for the 2009/10 season. If required, I
believe this could be transferred to a new owner, as I will no longer be using
this mooring.
There is also
a Bombard AX2 inflatable and Honda 2.3hp four-stroke, which were both bought in
2003 available on separate negotiation.
I am only selling Sprinter as I have bought a bigger boat
with a view to doing some more extended cruising.
